Sickness is
keeping many from living their lives to the fullest.
If you look
around, you see that most people with our modern lifestyles are
suffering from some sort of imbalance. People are sick and tired!
According to the CDC -
* About one-fourth of people
with chronic conditions have one or more daily activity
limitations.
*Arthritis is the most common cause of disability, with
nearly 19 million Americans reporting activity limitations
Many people are
battling asthma,
allergies, osteoporosis, obesity, autoimmune diseases
such as fibromyalgia, lupus, Multiple sclerosis, Type I Diabetes.
These can be life-threatening.
The next step in the
unbalance gets even worse. According to the
Center for Disease Control (CDC),
- 7 out of 10
deaths among Americans each year are from chronic diseases.
- Heart disease,
cancer and stroke account for more than 50% of all deaths each year.
With those
statistics, the means that half of those reading this message will die
from heart disease or diabetes and a third will die of cancer – if
they don’t get our bodies in balance the way God created them to be.
If your body
is sick, it is sick for a reason. You need
to change the circumstances that brought about the sickness before the
body can heal itself.
Pain is your
body telling you that something is being abused.
The problem that causes the pain comes from the conditions that you
are making your body function under.
Your body responds in precise ways to
every circumstance.
If the response causes problems, we call the problems ‘symptoms.’
We give
certain sets of symptoms labels signifying a particular ‘disease.’
Names like osteoporosis, AIDS, cancer or arthritis are really just
shorthand for a particular pattern of symptoms.
Symptoms are the signal that the body is adapting its
functions to survive the things we are doing to it.
When unbalance
occurs, and our bodies are adapting, we get signs of disease: Low
energy, fatigue, poor digestion, excess weight, foggy thinking, aches
and pains as well as major disorders. Common
illnesses like allergies, asthma, heart problems, diabetes, cancer –
are all actually signs of imbalance.
The amazing thing is, there is a simple,
