Dietary Suggestions:
In order to keep your pH balance at a health level, ideally the majority of the food you eat should be vegetables and some fruits (70-80%) and then add your meat or starches (30-20%).  If possible, do not eat meat and starch at the same meal.

When you keep this ratio, you are helping to keep your vitamin and mineral reserves up so that your body has what it needs to build and repair.  Along with supplements, this should help keep your pH level where it needs to be for optimal health.

Because of our busy lifestyles and old habits that take a while to break, most people find it difficult to maintain this ratio, and this is why supplements are so vital.  They fill the gap between what we should do and what we actually do as far as eating goes!

You can keep your mineral reserves up with the daily supplements listed above.  When you add the factor of eating in the ratio of 70/30, you will also be able to lose weight.

Omit the 'whites' as much as possible- white flour, white rice, white sugar, white milk.
Eat foods in their natural form, eat whole grains.

Digestion aid:
If you are eating a lot of meats, starches or fats or cooked foods, a digestive enzyme will help break down the foods.
If you've used antibiotics, your digestive flora is probably lopsided, meaning the good 'germs' were destroyed along with the bad germs.  Pro/pre-biotics will help restore the proper balance.

Keep your bowel moving:
Make sure what goes in does come out each day!  It is important to have at least one, if not two, complete bowel movements each day.
Fiber - psyllium each day to keep things moving easily
Cascara sagrada - as needed to relieve constipation
Pro/pre-biotic - to keep and rebuild healthy bacteria in your digestive tract.

Positive Emotions:
Train yourself to think positively.  Read Scripture, listen to motivational teachings.  Our natural inclination is to be negative, so be on the offensive and put positive thoughts into your mind on purpose!

Forgive others as quickly as possible.
Try not to judge others.
Know that you are loved by God.
Learn to love yourself!
